2008 (Indoor Sophomore): Zach competed during the indoor season, where he set a personal best in the 200 meters (22.76) at the Air Force Open (Feb. 9). He then redshirted during the outdoor season.

2007 (Freshman): During the indoor season, Zach posted his first score at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 2) with a sixth-place finish (7.02) in the 60 meters. He had a good outdoor season, posting four scores. His first came at the Rob Upton Invitational (March 24) with a win (10.85) in the 100 meters. He then posted two scores at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 21), with a seventh-place finish (10.93) in the 100 meters and an eighth-place finish (22.25) in the 200 meters. He finished the season with a sixth-place finish (10.84) in the 100 meters at the MWC outdoor championship (May 9).

High School: Zach was a four-time letterwinner in track and field while attending Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colo. He was named team MVP in both 2004 and 2005. He holds the school records in the 4x100 meters, the 4x200 meters, and the 110-meter high hurdles. He also won the 2006 high school 110-meter hurdle title.

Personal: Zach was born July 16, 1987, to Wendy Jordan in Dallas, Texas. He has a brother, Jeremy, and a sister, Tabitha. He is majoring in health and exercise science.
