In just two seasons with the Rams, Hazzard has been named to the all-conference team three times, once in the 60 meter hurdles, once in the 400 meter hurdles and once in the 400 meters. Hazzard has met the NCAA regional qualifying standard in the 400 hurdles the past two seasons. He could contend for all three hurdle titles this year. At the 2003 Mountain West Outdoor Championship, he injured his ankle, but refused to stop running, knowing he could earn the team points in three events.
