2010 (Junior): Posted top times for the Rams during the indoor season in the 200- and the 400-meter dash... Placed 10th in the 200 meters at the New Mexico Classic with a Rams' season best 22.25 seconds... Finished fourth in the 200 at the Don Barrett Air Force Duals with a time of 22.27, also took fourth in the 400 at Air Force with a personal season best time of 49.95... Owns top times for the Rams in both the 200- and 400-meter dash for the outdoor season... Ran the 200 in 21.78 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational for a fourth place finish... Placed sixth at the Front Range Classic in the 400 with a time of 49.41... Awarded MWC academic all-conference.

2009 (Sophomore): During the indoor season, Brian scored in the MWC indoor championships by finishing eighth in the 400-meter dash (49.99). Brian scored in multiple events during the outdoor season. He had a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.11) and a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash (48.87) at the Wyoming Gem City Duals (April 18). He finished third in the 400-meter dash (48.98) and fifth in the 200-meter dash (21.80) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 24). At the MWC championships (May 13), he closed out the season with a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (48.56) and was a member of the third-place 4x400-meter relay team.

2008 (Freshman): After gaining experience during the indoor season, Brian had a successful outdoor season with scores in three events. At the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 25), he finished in third place in the 200-meters (21.72) and in second place in the 400-meters (49.68). At the Front Range Championships (May 3), he finished in fifth place in the 400-meters (48.63). Finally he finished in eighth place in the 400-meters (49.26) at the MWC outdoor championships (May 14). Following the season, he was named an MWC Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Brian was a varsity letterwinner in both football and track while attending Fort Collins High School in Fort Collins, Colo. In 2007, he was named track MVP. He was part of the conference champions in 2005 and regional champions in 2006 and 2007. He holds the school record in the 4x200-meter relay (1:27.01), set in 2007.

Personal: Brian was born Dec. 14, 1988, to Daniel and Janet Fox in Boulder, Colo. He has two sisters, Laurie and Megan. His mother works at Colorado State, his sister Laurie ran track at Penn State and his sister Megan ran track at CSU. He is majoring in health and exercise science.
