High School: Jessie lettered all four years at Poudre High School in Fort Collins, Colo., in softball and track and field. She was named captain of the track team three straight years, 2007-09, and captained the softball team in 2008. She was part of two teams that hold Poudre High School records, the 4x100-meter relay (49.95) and the 800-meter medley relay (1:49.96).

Personal: Born Feb. 27, 1991, to Derek and Julie Evitt in Albuquerque, N.M. She has an older sister, Rachelle. Majoring in health and exercise science.
