Jeff Collier enters his fifth year as the Colorado State athletics business manager. He joined the university in June 2007.
Collier manages all financial aspects of the athletics department, including the development and oversight of the operating budget. He serves as the primary contact for coaches and staff in purchasing and travel initiatives, and assists department employees in managing their budgets.
Additionally, he acts as a liaison between athletics and the university's various financial and technology departments.
Collier came to CSU after working six years in a support role in the athletic business office at Baylor University, his alma mater. He served as the Bears' athletics business manager from 2004-07 and, prior to that, director of athletic accounting from 2001-04.
Before his time at Baylor, Collier worked nearly three years as a senior auditor in the Dallas office of Arthur Andersen, LLP, from 1998-2001.
Collier graduated from Baylor in 1998 with a dual bachelor's of business administration and master's of business administration in accounting.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Collier graduated from Richardson Berkner High School in 1993.
In the summer of 2011, Collier married Angie Hopkins, Head Coach of the CSU women's golf program. They make their home in Loveland.
