FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With a few days before the start of the new college basketball season, Colorado State posters and schedule cards are now available for fans and businesses alike to show their Rams spirit.
The posters and schedule cards, which are available through a variety of different ways, highlight the schedules of the 2008-09 CSU men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Fans can pick up the posters and schedule cards in the main lobby of the McGraw Athletic Center and at the CSU Bookstore. Posters and schedule cards are also available for fans who are out of town. To order, please visit http://csurams.cstv.com/marketing/poster-sched-cards.html.
The theme of the 2008-09 men’s basketball season is “Let’s go to Work! – Building a Championship Program.” Working off this theme, the poster shows Head Coach Tim Miles and his team placed in front of the new Academic and Training Center construction site outside of Moby Arena, symbolic of the building theme. Featured prominently on the poster are returning starting guards Willis Gardner and Marcus Walker.
The theme of the women’s basketball season is “Building a Program of Excellence.” The women’s poster features all 14 student-athletes and highlights their personalities and their enthusiasm going into Head Coach Kristen Holt’s first year. The team knows the task at hand won’t be easy, but it us prepared to do what is necessary to “build a program of excellence.”
