Football vs. Sacramento State Saturday at Hughes Stadium
The Rams host their first home game this season on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. vs. Sacramento State. The Hornets travel to Fort Collins with a 1-0 record after defeating Humboldt State 45-13 last weekend.

Coors Light Steve Fairchild Coach's Show - The show features team analysis and previews this week's game against Sacramento State. It runs from Aug. 27 through Nov. 19, airing every Wednesday (except Sept. 10) at 7 p.m. MT, on the Colorado State Radio Network.
Fans are welcome and encouraged to attend the shows at the Stonehouse Grille, located in Old Town Fort Collins at 125 S. College Ave.
Old Town Fort Collins Pep Rally; Thursday, 6 p.m. - Join Coach Steve Fairchild, members of his staff and the Ram team two days before CSU kicks off the home season at Hughes Stadium against Sacramento State. CSU’s marching band and spirit squad will also be on hand for the activities.
Friday Night Lights - Each Friday night preceding a home football game, members of CSU’s award-winning marching band make the rounds in Old Town, playing the Rams’ fight song as they march. The fun begins at 6 p m. in Old Town.
Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tim Miles to host fan forum
On Wednesday, CSU Athletics will host its first-ever Fan Forum, which will allow season-ticket holders and Ram Club members to join Tim Miles on the phone at no cost. Season-ticket holders and Ram Club members will receive a phone call between 6:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening and all they have to do is stay on the line and they will be transferred into a live forum with Coach Miles.
Men’s golf begins its season this weekend in Colorado Springs at the Gene Miranda Invitational. The women’s golf team has the weekend off and will be on the course Monday at Ptarmigan in Fort Collins.
Volleyball away this weekend
After a 3-0 start to the season, the Rams volleyball team will be leaving Thursday for the three-day Asics Classic tournament in Corvallis, Ore., home to Oregon State University. They will challenge Pepperdine, Oregon State and Pacific in attempt to continue their win streak.
Facilities Groundbreaking Celebration; Friday, Sept. 19, 1 p.m., south of Moby Arena.
Join campus and athletic administrators for a celebration of CSU’s new facilities initiative and groundbreaking.
Ram Legends Weekend; Friday, Sept. 19, & Saturday, Sept. 20.
Former football players will be invited back to campus and Fort Collins for a weekend celebration, including the annual Hall of Fame Banquet Friday night at the Hilton. Saturday, as part of the activities, former players will be recognized in Ram Town. Call 970/491-466 for more information.
