Rams garner 29 fall academic all-conference selections

Twelve receive recognition in back-to-back years

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A total of 29 Colorado State student-athletes have earned academic all-conference accolades for their work in the classroom and on the field last fall. The Mountain West Conference made the announcement Monday.

Fall sports at CSU include men's and women's cross country, football and women's volleyball. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at Colorado State while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better. They also must be a starter or significant contributor on their teams.

The 29 all-conference selections are three more than the Rams received last season.

The Rams' 29 academic all-conference choices for Fall 2008:
