Colorado State University Athletics
Moby Arena serves at the home for Colorado State's volleyball and men's and women's basketball programs. For more than 50 years, Moby boasts a rich and proud tradition that includes one of the most distinctive and effective home court playing facilities in the nation. Moby Arena is a cozy and intimate playing facility nestled in the heart of the university’s central campus. It’s also an arena that over the years has spawned Moby Madness, the raucous support of fans.
Fans of all ages in Fort Collins and the front range can enjoy top-notch college basketball in one of the most fan friendly and intimate settings in the country. As one of the most unique playing facilities in the nation, Moby Arena is an 8,083-seat, whale-shaped venue that is used throughout the year.
Basketball Locker Rooms
Completed prior to the 2022-23 season, both basketball programs moved into brand new locker rooms located on the north side of the arena. The locker rooms are mirror images of each other provided the teams a fresh look and increased space.

FNBO Loft
The FNBO Loft is located on the west concourse of Moby Arena and provides fans the opportunity to socialize together in a standing-room space. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Colorado State Sports Hall of Fame
One of the focal points of Moby Arena is the Colorado State Sports Hall of Fame area, located on the south concourse. The exhibit features artifacts throughout CSU athletics history, including plaques and awards for members of the school’s Sports Hall of Fame. Boosters, fans, alumni and supporters can visit the reception area and see displays tracing the history and tradition of Colorado State athletics.
Anderson Academic Center
In 2009, the Anderson Academic Center was completed, offering Ram student-athletes a frst-class academic facility.

Moby Health & Performance
Located on court level on the south side of the arena, the Moby Health and Performance Room services 13 Olympic sports. The 8,300 square foot space opened in 2013 and features offices, taping, treatment and rehab areas, as well as three plunge pools.
Anderson Weight Room
Completed in 2009, the Anderson Training Center includes a state-of-the-art 9,100 square foot weight room and strength and conditioning center.
McGraw Athletic Center
Sitting on the west side of Moby Arena, the Thurman “Fum” McGraw Athletic Center opened in 1999 and houses many athletic departments staff, coaches and the ticket office.
Bob Davis Hall
A 5,000 square foot banquet hall that is on the south side of the arena, Bob Davis Hall - named after Bob Davis who was Head Football Coach from 1947-55 before serving as Athletic Director from 195-65 - is a large meeting space for banquets and press conferences.
More History
The arena served as the setting for the 1976 movie, One On One, starring Robby Benson, Annette O’Toole, G.D. Spradlin, Gaill Strickland, and Melanie Griffith. It was filmed on Colorado State’s campus in 1975 and released a year later. Benson starred as prep basketball standout from Ault, Colo., named Henry Steele, who gets to play big-time basketball at Western University, but finds along the way he must make difficult decisions when confronted with corruption and cheating. The film’s working title was Catch A Falling Star.
Moby Arena also has hosted national recording artists such as Big Head Todd and the Monsters, the Steve Miller Band and The Fray have played to sold-out crowds. Until the 1990s, Moby Arena was known as Moby Gym.
